However, first I\'d like to tell you what\'s happened lately: In 2023, I expanded my services to include Senior Companionship, offering compassionate one-on-one, hourly support tailored to brighten and enhance daily life. My current services include:• Providing friendly companionship to combat loneliness.• Assistance with transportation, errands, and shopping.• Support during doctor appointments.• Encouragement and guidance with at-home chair exercises to maintain muscle activity.• Engaging in mental exercises to promote cognitive well-being. While I focus exclusively on non-medical activities (no bathing, dressing, or personal care), my goal is to be a positive presence, bringing light and joy to each day.Since 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has rocked the world as it continues to spread its various variants. There has been an unprecedented increase in disasters and crises around the globe. It is hard not to feel fear, and it is hard to stay hopeful. Yet, as a Life Coach, I know that self-care and compassion is essential.There is comfort in the compassion we show each other. Comfort also comes in the form of self-care. You cannot effectively help anyone if you are not taking care of yourself. Self-care includes, but is not limited to, exercising, getting enough sleep, eating some comfort food (within reason), listening to soothing music, reading Scripture, and taking a walk out in the fresh air. Self-care is anything that gives you a break. As of March 2015, I became certified as a Professional Life Coach. My vision is to coach individuals to live their lives, one-day-at-a-time, with perseverance, meaning, integrity and purpose. I am a grateful mother of three wonderful married adult children who help me grow daily. They continue to make me aware of the amazing gift of family, with all its challenges and surprises. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as an adult student at PBA University with a minor in Christian Ministry. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2018.From 20••••20, I was employed as Director of Resident Services at Brookdale Senior Living, helping residents and their families adjust to this new phase in their life. It was quite a rewarding and purpose-filled position as my coaching skills play a significant role in assisting the new and existing residents through their adjustments. In 2021, I worked as Resident Relations at a Senior Care Facility, and continue working as a support and companion with seniors.
