As a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and senior Human Resources (HR) leader, provides strategic direction and executive oversight for HR and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEIB) efforts at HNE. Develops and drives data-driven initiatives to support equity and inclusion throughout the entire employee life cycle, including: talent management, leadership development, cultural transformation, engagement and experience, policy development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, succession planning, and recruitment and retention. Advocates for and champions DEIB goals and ensure that all HR practices and processes are equitable and aligned with the company\'s DEIB strategies, overall mission and values. Leads the development and implementation of HNE’s multi-year DEIB Strategic Plan as a leader in the DEIB Committee and multiple Subcommittees. Establishes annual organization-wide Variable Compensation Plan (VCP) goals to monitor progress with the Strategic Plan, tracks and reports out on effectiveness to the HNE Board of Directors, ELT, and all employees. Oversees multiple teams working to execute the DEIB Strategic Plan, including the DEIB Education Sub-committee and Representation and Retention Sub-committee. Contributes to the company\'s Health Equity Committee and Pride Collective Working Group. Develops and implements DEIB educational content to foster a culture of inclusion, dignity, and allyship and reduce unconscious bias in the workplace. Reviews workforce demographic data and sets goals for achieving greater representation of diversity at all levels within the organization through external hiring and internal promotions, and ensure all HR practices are equitable and inclusive.
