About Sarah Mocke

Sarah is the leader of the Engineering and Architecture Group, that is comprised of data scientists, data engineers, applied scientists, cybersecurity professionals, software engineers, architects, and program managers. She is blessed to lead an expansive team of top, technical experts to help her company\'s customers in their most challenging transformations, data science opportunities, and high complexity deliveries. She is passionate about growing technical leaders of the future, engaging in \"delivery truth\", harnessing technology to improve our world, and a lifelong technology architecture practitioner.Prior to her current role, she led a Rapid Response and Communities team (including Microsoft Disaster Response, Connected Communities, and an Applied Architecture team) in the Microsoft Industry Solution Office of the CTO. Her other roles have included Worldwide Chief Technology Officer for Microsoft Consulting Services, Security Service Line Leader (Interim), Americas CTO for Architecture and Industry Services, and several technical, practice management, and sales positions.As a skilled business leader, she has spent over 30 years leading businesses and programs, selling, and delivering architecture and consulting, and managing business groups across the world. She enjoys the leveraging the unique insights and empathy that the sum of her experiences in many multi-disciplinary roles provides to synthesize the complex, generate energy, and drive success. She\'s a regular presenter at company events where she speaks about business, architecture, leadership, and diversity. Sarah was one of the first IASA Board Certified Architect Professionals and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers in the world. She is widely acknowledged for her IT architecture abilities and her ability to synthesizing weak industry signals to plan a path forward in complex situations. She is passionate about connecting, enabling, and empowering others, and greatly prefers working as part of a high-performing, team contributing to the careers and growth of all of those around her. She enjoys learning continuously and innovating but is biased towards taking ideas into practical actions and results.
