ABOUT SARAH COLBY

I have experience in a wide variety of educational roles and environments. My Board Certified Behavior Analyst experience has given me a unique perspective on how to effectively build and maintain teams. I understand employee motivations and needs, which can be used to enable positive change management. I am highly organized and able to take large amounts of information, organize it into manageable written or oral presentations, and not only understand but communicate the whole picture to guide decision making based on facts and data. I have over a decade of experience collecting and analyzing data. I am collaborative and communicative across teams. I have excellent written and oral communication skills. I think quickly in challenging situations and am able to find productive ways to communicate difficult information.I am creative, an excellent problem solver, and a team player. I have extensive experience in collaborating with many different types of individuals. I am able to develop and implement organizational ideas to fit the current and ever-changing needs of my employer, as well as support staff through any resulting changes. I have almost two decades of experience teaching, engaging in clinical work, in supervisory roles, and providing ABA treatment. I have worked in a variety of school settings (Montessori, public schools, private schools, schools for individuals with disabilities, and residential placements for individuals with disabilities). I have worked as a teacher, as a consultant, with families, and as a supervisor. I have good interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and am eager to learn new skills. I have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information. These skills are best reflected in my professional history and by the breadth of my experience. I have been fortunate to have supervisors who trust and rely on me. They have offered me many new and challenging professional experiences.
