SUPERVISOR: Executive DirectorHOURS/SCHEDULE: Up to 40 hours per weekDUTIES: Directly responsible for providing crisis intervention services to individuals who have been hurt or harmed including but not limited to, outreach as required, crisis counseling, coordination of emergency shelter, food, clothing, accompaniment to law enforcement or medical services as necessary, and transportation. Directly or indirectly responsible for assisting clients to negotiate the legal system including, but not limited to, assisting clients to complete and file protection and antiharassment orders, coordinating, translation or interpretation assistance as required, assisting clients in gathering information needed for court, coordination with other service providers, agencies, or programs, accompanying clients to court, explaining the legal process, and provide transportation. Directly responsible for regular ongoing counseling and case management services including, assessment, case planning and implementation, regular case management and counseling sessions, information and referral services, support, advocacy, crisis intervention, and termination planning and implementation. Directly responsible for maintenance, of complete and accurate documentation including, but not limited to, intake files client files and progress notes, services rendered, and daily, monthly, and quarterly statistics and reports. Mutually responsible for community education and awareness, community and public relations including public speaking as required. Attendance at weekend and after-hour events required.Participate in weekly staff meetings, regular supervision and on-going training.
