My practice focuses on trademark prosecution and enforcement, copyright law, and unfair competition, with a commitment to delivering proactive strategies that safeguard and strengthen intellectual property portfolios.With extensive experience in U.S. and global trademark matters, I guide clients through trademark clearance, monitoring, and enforcement, including cancellations, oppositions, customs, and related proceedings. I also advise on IP issues in licensing, assignments, and mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transfers of rights worldwide.Before joining WHE, I served as a Trademark Examining Attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, reviewing trademark applications for registration eligibility and advising attorneys and applicants on complex prosecution issues. That experience gave me unique insight into how to navigate the registration process successfully—both in the U.S. and internationally—even when others have faced challenges.In addition to client work, I serve on the Executive Committee of Wood Herron & Evans, managing the firm’s operations and helping guide strategic direction.
