   Manage a diverse, high-volume case load—up to 40+—and pursue civil, criminal, and administrative remedies. Evaluate case facts, conduct discovery, and prepare opinions advising the General Counsel, USAF leadership, and other agency officials on complex procurement fraud matters. Advise on case strategy, remedies, and settlements. Partner with robust and diverse multifunctional teams—including federal investigators, contracting, financial management, program management, engineering, legal, and other mission partners—to devise and execute coordinated litigation strategies. Frequently act as sole USAF counsel on large-scale cases. Formulate strategy for and manage the USAF’s response to and prosecution of qui tam lawsuits, DoD Hotline complaints, Defense Contract Audit Agency audits, and other reported fraud allegations, including False Claims Act violations, conflicts of interest, cost mischarging, counterfeit parts, and wire fraud. Serve as Agency Counsel and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney alongside the DoJ to advance the prosecution of civil and criminal cases and negotiate compromise agreements. Serve as the DoJ’s procurement fraud subject matter expert (SME).
