Currently, Sarah manages global communications at Zynga, a leader in interactive entertainment with a mission to connect the world through games. In this role, she directs a team of eleven professionals who are based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Austin, Texas. Sarah is responsible for Zynga’s product and consumer communications for a portfolio of ten forever franchises that span hyper-casual, mass casual, third-party IP and cross-platform games. Additionally, she directly manages and executes Zynga’s financial and corporate communications, inclusive of quarterly earnings, policy, corporate social media, crisis response and executive communications. Additionally, Sarah managed the marketing function at Flipagram as the company’s Chief Marketing officer, until the mobile app start-up was acquired by Toutiao, the parent company of ByteDance / Tik Tok. In addition to games and mobile applications experience, Sarah has held several high-profile digital media roles. She ran Ashton Kutcher’s digital media studio for two years, creating the actor’s technology brand and building the first social media profile to reach one million followers on Twitter. Prior to her role as Head of Digital at Katalyst Studios, Sarah served as the Chief Marketing Officer at TechCrunch, where she was responsible for creating the TechCrunch Disrupt conference platform. Earlier in her career, Sarah spent ten years at Yahoo, having been hired to run corporate communications as the company’s 600th employee and expanding her role until the company grew to employees. Finance, Yahoo! Sports, Yahoo! Movies, Yahoo! Music, Yahoo! Games and Yahoo! News.
