ABOUT SARAH BRESLIN

In my professional role in marketing within the further education sector, I focus on showcasing the vital contributions our college makes to employers and the wider community through clear, engaging communication across a range of platforms. This includes creating and managing content such as videos, graphics, website copy, and social media posts to communicate key messages that connect education and industry. By highlighting opportunities and the mutual benefits of collaboration, my work supports workforce development, strengthens employer relationships, and inspires the next generation of talent. As the founder of Villa Bellas, the official AVFC supporter’s network for women, girls and non-binary people, I have led initiatives to increase support for the women’s game, promote grassroots participation and ensure that female fans of the men’s game feel safe, heard and equally represented. My volunteer duties include serving as a member of the Aston Villa Fan Advisory Board, where I lead the Women’s extended groups from a fan perspective. Working collaboratively with club staff at all levels to shape, enhance, and continually evolve the fan experience is both an honour and deeply rewarding.Beyond my day-to-day duties, I am committed to advocacy and fostering inclusion, especially for the LGBTQ+ community and lead the Pride network within my organisation. I also advocate within the local community for LGBTQ+ representation and visibility through the Solihull Pride steering group. This commitment to inclusion and belonging was recently recognised when I was honoured with the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Rising Star and Future Leader Award. This recognition reflects my dedication to creating environments, both professionally and personally, where everyone can thrive and feel valued.
