ABOUT SARAH BRENNAN
I come from a long line of military men and women, and I always knew I wanted to “protect and serve” in some capacity from an early age. I juggled all security possibilities, from being a probation officer to being on a counter-terrorism task force throughout high school and college. When the opportunity to join the private sector and to dip my feet in Physical Security came about, I had to jump on it! I am a Physical Security Planner in the Physical Security Department at First National Bank of PA, where I serve to protect the company’s physical assets, such as employees, customers, and buildings. I touch all markets of FNB’s footprint. As a security planner, I work with the Physical Security team to implement security measures in both branches and administration sites, such as access control, video surveillance, and alarm monitoring. I use security systems such as DMP Entre NOC, PACOM, Verint Video Investigator, and OpsCenter daily. At FNB, I sit on the Board of Directors for the Young Professionals of FNB Group (Pittsburgh Region) and am a committee lead for planning networking and social events. Outside of FNB, I’m a Bridges Society member and part of the Women’s Leadership Council at the United Way Foundation of Southwest PA. I am passionate about volunteering and giving back to the community because I have been very fortunate to be in a position where I can do so. I joined FNB in June 2020 after graduating from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. At SRU, I dual majored in Homeland Security Studies and Corporate Security with a concentration in Fraud. At Slippery Rock, I was co-founder and served as the first President of the Security Studies Club, I was a member of the Security Studies Fraternity, Omicron Sigma Sigma, and interned for Lawrence County Government in their Emergency Management Department.
