Together we create evidence based nutrition education that helps children and families understand how food works in the body and build lifelong nutrition literacy—I advocate for creative and experiential learning within homeschool and alternative education spaces, designing environments where children learn through curiosity, exploration, and play based discovery.I previously facilitated the Pikes Peak Postpartum Support Group and earlier in my career served in logistics with the U.S. Army’s 10th Special Forces Group Airborne and later led Sarah Harvey Homes, a real estate team that sold more than 50 homes annually.

   Sarah Harvey is the Co-Founder of First Steps Nutrition, LLC, where she works in partnership with Enwei Schwind, MS, RDN, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, to develop practical nutrition education for children and families-Enwei leads the scientific and evidence-based foundation of the curriculum through her professional training and clinical nutrition expertise. Sarah works alongside her to translate those concepts into meaningful learning experiences that children can understand and families can apply in everyday life-As a Childhood Learning Advocate and homeschooling parent, Sarah focuses on educational design that supports experiential, play based, and hands-on learning. Her work centers on helping complex nutrition concepts become approachable, engaging, and developmentally appropriate for children-Together, they design programs that allow parents and children to learn side by side, turning nutrition education into a family learning experience rather than a set of rules. Their shared goal is to build true nutrition literacy so children can grow into confident, informed decision makers about their health.
