Since 2020 I have enjoyed working as an independent consultant. I have drafted, reviewed, and edited standards and other normative documents for standard-setting organizations in a variety of industries, including forestry and forest products, biomass energy, textiles, mining, and biomaterials. As Chair of the FSC Policy and Standards Committee (PSC) – a sub-committee of the FSC International Board of Directors, I support the committee members in reaching consensus and report their approval and recommendation decisions to the Board.As an Associate of Dovetail Partners, Inc. my work has focused on supporting global and local businesses and NGOs to understand and implement certification requirements and applicable legislation, and analyzing and reporting on policies, standards, and regulation relevant to the wood products industry.From 20••••20 my work was focused on responsible forest product certification: writing policies and standards, auditing, training staff and auditors, and managing a global network of affiliate offices conducting Chain of Custody audits for over 3500 clients around the world.
