ABOUT SARAH BENNI

I am an Epic Analyst at University Health, where I support the implementation and optimization of the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring its alignment with the organization\'s strategic goals and operational needs. I collaborate with clinical and administrative staff, IT professionals, and vendors to troubleshoot issues and enhance workflows and functionality.I am passionate about improving access and quality of healthcare for diverse and underserved populations, and I have gained valuable skills and knowledge in business development, strategic planning, and healthcare operations through my coursework and projects in my MBA and MHA programs at The University of Texas at San Antonio and University of the Incarnate Word. I have also demonstrated my analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills through my previous roles as a Lean Process Analyst, an Administrative Intern, and a Specialist at various healthcare organizations. I have been involved in continuous improvement initiatives, data analysis, marketing and outreach, and provider engagement. I have also received multiple certifications and honors from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), such as the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) and the Mary Anne Weidner STC-ACHE Student Scholarship.I am eager to apply my skills and experience to contribute to the success of University Health and its mission of providing patient-centered and innovative care.
