About Sarah Wellman
Growing up on a diversified grain and cattle farm formed Sarah\'s initial perspective of the role of agriculture, politics, trade, and transportation in the world. A native Nebraskan and fourth generation of the family farm, Sarah\'s background and past work experiences have deepened her passion and enthusiasm for these issue areas. Working on multiple campaigns led Sarah to opportunities in the U.S. Senate and ultimately transitioned to her current role as Senior Director of Corporate Affairs for one of the nation’s largest supply chain companies. Sarah develops and implements state and federal strategies to achieve legislative and regulatory goals while serving as a liaison with congressional members, state legislators, agency and administrative officials, staff, and non-governmental organizations.
