About Sarah Jones

I am a dedicated and passionate Learning and Development professional with a strong background in Learning Services and Operations Management. I currently hold the position of Director of Operations Quality, Learning and Development. In my role, I serve as a Lead Learning Partner and am heavily involved with transforming learning at AstraZeneca. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biology and American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I started my career managing teams and ensuring regulatory compliance, paving the way for my pivot to Learning and Development. I began my Learning and Development journey as a Learning Management System Administrator, increasing my responsibility and scope over time by implementing a new Learning Management System (LMS), insourcing both LMS Administration and Logistics teams, and overseeing day-to-day Learning Operations. Each day I strive to learn something new and to continue to build upon and expand my skill set. I am continually seeking opportunities that will allow me to develop both professionally and personally.
