I oversee the operations of three medical departments comprised of 150+ physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs). Manage payables, payroll, and other administrative paperwork and actively contribute to provider and staff recruitment efforts, contract analysis, and negotiation strategies. Effectively communicate with providers and staff regarding compensation, compliance with DMG policies, and contractual obligations. Collaborate with the Senior Director to contribute to the development of strategic goals and priorities. Formulate annual business plans for assigned departments – Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Radiology. Mitigated the problem of lack of tracking of Directorship and Academic role hour requirements by creating an Excel tracking system with conditional formatting, allowing collection of role’s monthly hours with measures against expectations, resulting in timelier payments, accurate tracking of hours, and clearer expectations to all, completed within six months. Introduced online web-based digital tracking platform, QGenda, allowing providers to enter hours for Directorship and Academic roles – within six months,~75% of providers entered time, and 100% of data was captured for assessment purposes.
