About Sarah Wheeler
I am an experienced analyst and portfolio manager with a diverse banking background in commercial, consumer and venture lending. My passion for teamwork and communication, as well as my varied experience in loan processing and underwriting, often lands me on interdepartmental project teams, training new employees, and as a liaison with vendor partners.When I\'m not at my day job, I am an active member of the 8th largest chapter of international Junior Leagues, the Junior League of Raleigh, where I have held various leadership positions and represented our chapter at our international conference. I’m currently serving on our Nominating Committee and as a member of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Task Force. We’re celebrating our chapter’s 90th year in 2020, and I’m so excited to be a part of reinvigorating our chapter with new ideas and diverse leadership!I always need a creative outlet, and as I have run out of wall space for my paintings I have switched to developing my cooking and plating skills! I love to learn as much as I can about international cuisines and to replicate delicious dishes I\'ve found in the amazing and growing Raleigh-Durham restaurant community. My cocker spaniel pup, Chawlee, is very supportive and watches my every move as I prep my food - or maybe he\'s looking for a dropped crunchy veggie treat as it hits the floor.
