About Sarah Warren

Sarah Warren is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of success working in higher education, primarily in International Education and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with a focus on Accessibility. Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree, certificate, and Honors from the University of Kentucky, during which time she worked at the University of Kentucky Education Abroad & Exchanges office. While there, she supported the advising center and managed the peer ambassadors, a large team of study abroad alumni who assist future study abroad students with program choice and application. Upon graduation, Sarah accepted a position with International Studies Abroad (ISA) as a Program Advisor. During her role as Program Advisor, she guided students through the interest and application processes as well before transitioning to become the Program Advisor Team Lead, supervising a small team of Program Advisors who worked with students at the final program decision and application process. Currently, Sarah serves as the Embedded Office and Regional Director at ISA. In this position, she both manages an individual office on the University of Kentucky campus as well as foster and maintain university relationships in both Kentucky and Tennessee. She also continues to advise students in the application and enrollment stages of going abroad, as well as supervising ISA peer ambassadors on multiple campuses in their roles helping their peers who wish to study abroad. During her tenure at ISA, Sarah has also had the privilege of working as part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, with a specific focus on accessibility. Her work includes advising students on on-site specifics relating to auditory, visual, physical/mobility, neurological and cognitive, medical, and/or psychological needs.
