ABOUT SARAH WALKER

I\'m a storyteller, writer, trainer, historical researcher & interpreter, and maker of things. I created Hidden History Tours, revealing the parts of history that go unnoticed, currently running in Tombland, Norwich Cathedral Close, Norwich Market Place, Old Lakenham and elsewhere. I perform stories from the traditions of the British Isles and beyond, collected during travels, at festivals, parties, schools, college events for adults and children. Founder member of the East Anglian Fabulation, organisers of the East Anglian Storytelling Festival. I host Tales from the Undercroft, Norfolk\'s longest-running storytelling gathering. My storytelling page is here: My book \"Ghosts International: Troll and Other Stories\", a graded reader, is published by Oxford University Press in their Bookworms Library series. I run workshops on Creative Writing, Storytelling, Finding Your Voice, etc. An English Language Teacher, Young Learners Specialist and Teacher Trainer in 9 countries, as a Media Analyst, and as a researcher. Most recently teaching for INTO UEA on their pre-sessional courses - specialising in Economics, Business, Media and Arts topics. I\'m an Instructional Skills Workshop Trainer, and have trained trainers from the police forces of England and Wales in Management of Police Information. I taught English Literature at the Orientale University of Naples. I\'m an editor, proofreader and translate from Italian to English. I forage, and wrote a semi-regular column,\"Wild Brews\" for Smallholder magazine. I make things out of wool, paper, semi-precious stones and recycled materials, and have exhibited in the White Ribbon Project and the Nasty Women Art Exhibition.
