About Sarah Vandervalk Duta

As the Event Director at Baker Ranch Community Association, I have fifteen years experience working in Property Management. This has allowed me to create, plan and coordinate all of the special events and recreation programs for several master-planned communities. This includes raising sponsorship\'s and managing budget and staff. Prior to working for Crummack Huseby, I was in charge of the recreation program for the award-winning community: The Village of Woodbury. I also assisted several financial advisers by supporting their marketing efforts, which entailed planning and organizing seminars and client events. I helped establish new business and maintain existing clientele. Additionally, I have a strong background in finance and accounting. I am meticulous and extremely detail oriented, and I feel that my greatest attributes are my dedication to customer service, positive attitude and appreciation of people.

   Responsible for oversight of HOA event budget. Managing our team, staff development and engagement, policy implementation, team execution of all special events, programs, and facility scheduling.•Develop and monitor department budget. Prepare, negotiate, and maintain contracts with vendors. Streamlined planning and execution of events. •Management of all community events, negotiating/scheduling vendors, responsible for building partnerships with community residents, local businesses and NPO’s. Responsible for scheduling and organinzing monthly social committee meetings.•Compose articles for the association newsletter, compile marketing mailing lists, maintain website, and manage all social media efforts.•Serve as a liaison between HOA managment company, residents and vendors. Assist the General Manager in the execution of the established policies; handling residents’ request/complaints, as well as overseeing contractors providing service to the community.
