Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Director of Annual Giving manages the annual giving and mid-level giving strategies for Colorado Public Radio-Manages a team of 5 FTEs, providing leadership internally and externally for annual giving efforts for Colorado Public Radio. Works with fellow Development Directors to identify annual support goals and objectives-Implements a comprehensive annual giving strategy and calendar for phases of annual giving including mail, on air, email, social media, digital and other appropriate channels-Develops partnerships and provides annual giving support and expertise to CPR departments including each of our 5 service brands, Major Giving, Development Service, Marketing and Communications-Implements long-term strategies for building a case for support through various multi-channel communications opportunities-Works closely with vendors to implement and manage annual mail/digital campaigns and purchased services/programs, coordinates, implements, tracks, and evaluates annual solicitations, projects, and programs. Conducts on-going market research to identify and implement the appropriate approach to marketing annual support programs and CPR giving opportunities-Performs comprehensive data analysis related to all aspects of the annual support program. Evaluates current programs and makes recommendations for program changes. Provides regular reports for annual giving performance, projections and action items-In collaboration with the major gift staff, identifies and develops prospects who meet an annual giving threshold or other criteria that would suggest potential for mid-level annual giving and major gift activity-Works in partnership with the VP and SVP for Development to plan and oversee the annual giving budget.
