ABOUT SARAH SMITH
Sarah is a Project Director bringing over 10 years’ experience in project controls across complex infrastructure programmes, defence and within Oil and gas. She has a combination of technical project controls skills and experience in leading teams, particularly in improving controls performance through data strategies which in turn afford improved and early decision making.Most recently Sarah was the Reporting lead in Programme Endurance to upskill and implement an ePMO across AWE. Here she supported and advised the AWE Business Insights lead to define their Reporting Framework, aligning to P3M best practice along with improving their business plan reporting to supplement their PMO at IOC. Prior to this Sarah was the Controls Lead for a portfolio of capital projects worth c£1Bn within Heathrow’s Strategic Programmes. Here she improved ways of working through the development of robust baselines during the pandemic that provided single points of truth across the client and its supply chain. Similarly, her prior experience developing IBR’s at Heathrow’s T2 and TengizChevroil helped her to develop her performance driven skillset, approach and style.Sarah is a proficient problem solver who understands business and contract drivers, which coupled with her collaborative style and passion for improving data accuracy and availability, supports improved communication and trust across stakeholders.
