About Sarah Simon

Sarah (she/her) is a bilingual multimedia journalist and producer specializing in health, science, culture, & tech reporting, analysis, and storytelling. She is also looking to expand more into the audiovisual space. In 2017, she received a BA in psychology from the State University of New York at Geneseo (SUNY Geneseo), where she also interned at a local newspaper and an outpatient substance use clinic. Since graduation, Sarah has lived and taught in Latin America, where she earned a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), as well as a Fulbright grant. In 2021, she began graduate studies in psychology at The New School for Social Research in New York City.While Sarah studies, she collaborates on critical psychology research and continues media things – and on topics she thinks everyone should care about. She has written, edited, and produced with publications including The Daily Beast, Mashable, Verywell, MIT Tech Review, The Center for Health Journalism, and the YouTube channels The Take and Wisecrack.
