Artera delivers a platform-level patient communications solution that integrates across a health system’s tech stack (EHRs/EMRs, single-point solutions, apps, and more) to deliver patients a simple, cohesive communications experience while reducing workload for healthcare staff. As Senior Corporate Counsel, I advise and support internal business teams on legal issues and risks related to customer and partner transactional and commercial matters. I do this by working closely with Sales, Finance, and Professional Services to gather information and approvals necessary for outbound sales related matters. As well as training the Sales team on a variety of agreements and best practices. Further, by continuously improving and maintaining product release checklists, playbooks, and legal processes, I support the enterprise in their global scaling efforts and assist with standardization of documentation and agreements across multiple jurisdictions. In addition, I provide frontline legal support on product, privacy, and compliance requirements for internal engineering and product teams. Additionally, I draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements (MSAs), business associate agreements (BAAs), data processing agreements (DPAs), partner agreements (IPAs), re-seller agreements, professional services agreements, intellectual property licenses, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and statements of work.
