As a Constituency Assistant at the House of Commons of Canada, I contribute to supporting constituents by providing assistance with federal government programs and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders, government agencies, and community members. My role involves resolving inquiries, documenting casework, and staying informed about relevant legislation to address community needs. With over three years of experience in research, project management, and public policy, I have honed my stakeholder management, team leadership, and policy analysis skills. My work reflects a commitment to fostering collaboration, facilitating effective communication, and driving initiatives that address community priorities. My academic and professional journey has also deepened my interest in the intersection of technology and informal communications within political and diplomatic contexts.I have a strong interest in the role of technology facilitating informal communications for both politicians and diplomats. I have been published in the Canadian Parliamentary Review, where I wrote an article on the usage of messaging apps by parliamentarians and their staff. My MA dissertation was on the topic of how diplomats use messaging apps in a multilateral setting.
