CCOF is a USDA accredited organic certification agency with clients throughout the United States as well as Canada and Mexico. As the Handler Department Director, I am responsible for developing and communicating internal policies and processes as well as interpreting complex areas of the federal organic standards as they apply to processors, brokers, distributors, co-packers, retailers, and restaurants. Additionally I am involved in systems development to ensure that our business processes are efficient and effective. I oversee a department of 22 employees while working with our Processor and Handler clients and businesses interested in getting certified organic. I have expertise in organic winemaking and nonorganic material review.
