ABOUT SARAH RAEBURN
Raeburn Training provides a range of training courses and health and safety support across Scotland. We work with commercial clients, individuals direct and heavily support employability training working with a range of local authorities and charities. With a strong background historically in the construction industry, we now support health and safety training across a wide industry base. Over 100 health and safety courses are now delivered with a wide range of plant courses in particular. Courses with a wide appeal include -* General Health and Safety Courses including Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, Working at Height, Ladder Safety, Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments & Accident Investigation.* REHIS elementary Health and Safety and Food Hygiene * Moving and handling training for the care industry * IOSH - Working Safely and Managing Safely * First Aid - variety of first aid at work, sports first aid and mental health first aid courses.* Plant - over 100 categories covered including forklift, telehandler and slinger/signaller courses.* Access equipment - PASMA and IPAF Construction industry courses, include -* In addition to the general course above, accredited face fit testing * Construction Plant - NPORS and CPCS courses * CITB Site Safety Plus - Health and Safety courses for Site operatives, Supervisors and Managers * CSCS Test centre, based in Kirkcaldy, Fife Prior to this launching the training company in August 2019 I was involved in the running of a civils contracting company which delivered many civils contracts and housebuilding projects, working with local authorities, main contractors, and private clients. Employing over 85 people at its height, as well as specialist subcontractors and agency labour, the company delivered projects across the central belt of Scotland. During this time I fulfilled many head office roles including finance, HR, buying and support for IT, H&S and property. The first ten years of career spent in financial sector working as a business analyst / finance manager in both insurance and banking organisations. I was responsible for SAS programming, data management, systems design and preparing and delivering board reports. During this time, I undertook numerous leadership development programmes and achieved the FPC suite of certificates.
