ABOUT SARAH RADCLIFFE

I have been the Director of Future Ready Learning for the School District of Altoona in Altoona, WI since July 2021. Previously, I served in the role of Executive Director of Educational Technology, Technology Integration Coach, Assistive Technology Coordinator and Speech / Language Pathologist, starting in 2005. I support the integration of technology and future ready skills throughout the district’s curriculum. I guide buildings in assessing, selecting and infusing digital literacy standards through strategic planning, setting building goals and technology coaching. Although high school graduation has long-been considered the ‘finish line’ for K-12 educational students, I believe that graduation is the starting line for life. Students are coached, conditioned and prepared to take on whatever is next for them. I promote this philosophy throughout the district and community by championing Academic and Career Planning for students. I have ultimate oversight of cybersecurity and student data privacy for district students, families, and employees and have enacted increased security infrastructure measures, vendor student data privacy agreements, end-user cybersecurity training and user and network monitoring strategies in my district.I spend her free time outdoors with my husband and 4 children. I enjoys reading, biking, swimming and boating. I love to plant and weed her backyard flower garden during the spring summer months. I enjoy music and plays the piano, although usually only at Christmas. To catch a sunrise or a sunset in any location makes my day a great day!
