My partner and I established Dorset Marine Training during the 2017 season. We\'ve both freelanced as Instructors but after enquiries asking us to provide training ourselves we decided to take the plunge and run our own centre. It is almost always the case that training will be run by either myself, as Centre Principal, or Dom as our Chief Instructor. This means we are able to give clients our full attention and we pride ourselves on offering professional instruction in a friendly and relaxed environment. We offer training for practical courses or bespoke training on either our boat or yours and also offer a range of theory courses including VHF radio and navigation for Dayskipper & Yachtmaster. We train on smaller powerboats or motor cruisers up to 50ft but we both also sail so happy to adapt training to reflect this.We\'ve had a fantastic first season with lots of great feedback and lovely engaging students. As a result we\'ve now invested in another boat, new logo and website and various new kit. Our clients have been lovely and its great that they\'ve returned for extra courses or bought courses for family members suggesting they\'ve been happy with the training experience.
