My practice includes the representation of financial institutions, banks, business owners, corporate fiduciaries, and other corporate clients. My representative litigation cases include breach of contract actions, business debt collection, foreclosures and workouts, and a variety of other business disputes. On the transaction side, I represents lender in asset-based lending, secured transactions, and alternative financing arrangements such as receivables financing.I have a focused regulatory and administrative law practice dedicated to helping financial institutions and related financial services providers navigate the complex and expanding area of government regulation and compliance with federal and state laws. This includes working with my clients to prepare best practices policies, procedures, and forms; representing my clients before state regulatory agencies; and advising financial institutions as to avoiding litigation. When necessary, I will also represent those same institutions in court. I present regularly on these issues at the Florida Bankers Association’s Seminars and Conferences.My administrative law practice also includes representation of affordable housing developers and stakeholders before local governments, state agencies, and the appellate courts. This includes representing my clients in contested matters such as bid protest proceedings and waiver/variance petitions. Since 2009, I have consistently been recognized as Rising Star in the Super Lawyer Magazine, being counted among the elite 2.5% of Florida’s attorneys under 40 years of age or in practice for less than 10 years, to receive this honor. In 2012, I was recognized by the Orlando Business Journal Women Who Mean Business as a Woman to Watch.
