The Rohingya Culture Center is a community based social service organization aimed at serving the needs of the Rohingya refugee population in Chicago as well as raising awareness of the persecution of the Rohingya in Myanmar.• Oversee and monitor various programs implemented by the organization, including Case Management, Academic Support, Citizenship Classes, English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes, Youth Sports, Youth Club, Religious Education, Food Distribution, and Health Support• Initiate and set goals for programs based on the organization’s strategic objectives• Seeking, writing, and organizing grants to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services through funding• Organize fundraising efforts, such as Ramadan donations and emergency relief fund tohelp community members• Responsible for effective administration of RCC\'s operations• Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity • Responsible for fiscal management that generally anticipates operating within the approved budget, ensures maximum resource utilization, and maintenance of the organization in a positive financial position• Organize community events, such as RCC’s Graduation Celebration, Democracy Cup Soccer Tournament, and various health events• Work closely with Executive Director, various program staff, and volunteers• Complete monthly, quarterly, and year end reports• Responsible for communicating effectively with the Board and providing all information necessary for the Board to function properly and to make informed decisions
