About Sarah Owen

After accelerating business and revenue growth as CEO at local non-profits for nearly two decades, I was recruited by the CEO of Shell Point Retirement Community to step into an executive leadership role as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, I draw upon my passion for promoting positive aging and leverage my expertise in strategic planning, marketing, brand development, and relationship building to strengthen community partnerships, attract potential residents, and grow revenue. In my former position as CEO and President of Collaboratory, I spearheaded an ambitious eighteen-year initiative to address all the region’s social issues. Partnering with the board and decision-makers, I envisioned the organization’s new brand, goals, marketing, and website through the lens of resolving concurrent overlapping social problems. My strategic planning expertise, fundraising efforts, and compelling presentations helped the Collaboratory grow its assets to become one of the largest funding organizations in the region, positioning it to achieve its daring goals.As a servant leader, I am dedicated to helping people love where they live while building high performing teams and collaborating seamlessly across functions, seniority levels, and cultures.
