About Sarah Simpson

Sarah serves as a member of the Intellectual Property Practice group at Crowe & Dunlevy OKC. She is a registered USPTO Patent Attorney with a biochemistry background and experience in medical and agricultural research. As a law student, Sarah served as Managing Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review and President of the OU Law Intellectual Property Society. She simultaneously worked as a Legal Intern at the OU Office of Technology Commercialization, where she drafted and reviewed contracts, prepared reports for federal reporting under the Bayh Dole Act, and assisted in aspects of patent prosecution for university technology. Sarah\'s work in this position built upon her previous experience in academic research at Oklahoma State University and her Honors Capstone Thesis on university technology transfer. Her law school pro bono volunteerism as an Oklahoma Legal Aid LiveChat Navigator focused on providing access for visitors of oklaw.org to basic legal information, online forms, and attorney resources. • Strong leadership background in community service and philanthropy. • International studies and volunteerism in both urban and rural communities.
