ABOUT SARAH OBRIEN

I\'m currently completing a PhD at King\'s College London exploring how public involvement can be shifted to be inclusive of disabled people, something that doesn\'t always occur when with comes to thinking about equity, diversity and inclusion as access needs aren\'t always included in practice. In June 2023 I published my first book So, I\'m Autistic taking all of the lessons I\'d learnt in the 10 years since my autism diagnosis, working with autistic young people, working clinically and within research. There\'s a dearth of support after diagnosis, which I and many others have experienced, this book is bursting with everything I needed and everything autistic people need post-diagnosis.
