ABOUT SARAH NORTH

Ms. North, senior director of marketing, joined Federal in 2005 as marketing coordinator, and today spearheads the strategy and execution of the comprehensive marketing, communication and public relation programs for the 22 properties within her portfolio located in northern and central Virginia as well as Chicago markets. She is responsible for guiding all project-level marketing and communication efforts related to consumer, leasing, development, redevelopment and construction projects. North also oversees the consistency of brand standards, editorial direction, design, production, and quality of all digital marketing and collateral. North has been a key contributor in the award submission process that led to Federal receiving notable industry accolades. Her contributions include Birch & Broad’s receipt of the 2023 ICSC Design & Development Silver Award for Renovations & Expansions, the 2022 NAIOP Northern Virginia Best of Buildings: Capital Improvement Award of Excellence, and the 2014 ULI Vision Award win for Willow Lawn in the Top Smart Growth Project Category.North is a member of Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) where she was awarded the Certified Marketing Director (CMD) designation in 2008. She is also a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and has a bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University.
