Responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive HR service to the business. Proactively partner the business by advising managers on best practice HR, working closely with the Operations and Finance Director. This is a “hands on” role, dealing with case work at 6 sites throughout the UK but also providing strategic support through monthly reporting meetings with the Company Directors. Management and development of the HR team which consists of two HR Assistants and one In-house Recruiter. The role includes regular travel to Scotland, Newcastle, Leeds, Mansfield and Wales. Responsibilities:Employee Relations - support the HR team in managing absence, disciplinary, grievances, sickness, maternity, paternity, adoption etc, on boarding and employee lifecycle events. Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.Performance Management - assist Manger\'s in performance management issues and processes including annual appraisals.Recruitment and retention - Support the In-house Recruiter to support the regional manager on all aspects of recruitment.Reward - advise and support employees on company and statutory benefits.Policy and procedures - implementation of new HR policies, procedures and processes.Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge and evidencing appropriate decision making skills.Managing priorities between casework and projectsBuild rapport quickly with key members of the executive team and general staff
