About Sarah Monty
Sarah is a Partner and the Chair of the Immigration Practice Group for Monty & Ramirez LLP where she practices exclusively in the area of U.S. immigration and naturalization law. She counsels employers in all aspects of employment-based immigration including nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, permanent residency, citizenship, policy development and compliance with the ever-increasing regulations applicable to both U.S. employers and the foreign nationals whom they employ. Sarah\'s clients have encompassed investors, emerging and mid-sized businesses and large corporations in a variety of industries including energy, health care, IT consulting, oil and gas, financial services and the import/export of consumer goods. Sarah also assists clients in performing “immigration due diligence” in preparation for corporate restructures and merger and acquisition transactions. She routinely assists foreign nationals at U.S. consulates and embassies abroad to facilitate the issuance of visas necessary to enter the U.S. Sarah also represents employers and foreign nationals before the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of State (DOS), Department of Labor (DOL), and Department of Justice (DOJ). Sarah is Board Certified in Immigration and Naturalization Law and is licensed in the Southern District of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
