I believe the highest use of our talents is supporting our neighbors—near and far—in meeting their basic needs. I am lucky enough to spend my days leading the team at Second Harvest Heartland to do just that, as we work to ensure people across the region have the food they need. While working and traveling globally earlier in my career I discovered the power of food to bring people together. Now, I hope—and work—for a day when everyone has the food they need and a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal.I am proud of two decades of experience earned at General Mills where I led teams, special initiatives, and operations spanning locations from the U.S. to Singapore.
