Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services\' Innovation CenterPatient Care Models GroupDivision of Specialty Payment Models My work at CMS primarily addresses the legal and policy issues associated with episode based payment models, including the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement model, Quality Payment Program, and Oncology Care Model. I develop contracts, beneficiary notifications, program integrity agreements, and internal and external guidance documents related to issues such as physician gainsharing, healthcare fraud and abuse, and Medicare payment policy waivers. I also contribute to the development and design of other forthcoming Innovation Center models, and provide advice to front office CMS staff and industry stakeholders on legal issues associated with CMMI models.
