For the past 8years I have worked as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. I have acquired advanced skills in emergency obstetrics while working in our OBED and Triage, obstetrical operating room nursing, management and care of high risk perinatal patients, mentoring and educating new nurse hires, and effective communication and coordination within the entire medical team. I value a team based approach to nursing and medical care and value prioritizing and advocating for patient and family needs above all else.
