I began my career in fundraising at Keuka College, where I led content creation for a $30M comprehensive outreach campaign. For the ‘15-’16 year, these marketing initiatives resulted in $5.5M in gifts.In 2014, I joined Futurism, a growing science and technology media publication, as a freelance writer in my free time. This evolved into a full-time role where I was quickly promoted from staff writer and editor to Managing Editor, leading a team of 25 and overseeing cross-company endeavors across departments. Under my leadership, the publication secured a collective readership of 145M, social followings of over 15M, and received over 1.8B video views across its channels. I covered SpaceX launches at NASA, worked on a mini film with Sophia the Robot, and interviewed Freeman Dyson at the U.N. I was also part of the team that spearheaded the launch of Gravity Products, generating $25M+ in annual revenue.After a year in this role, I was promoted to Deputy Editor, where my responsibilities expanded to include cross-departmental initiatives and project management.When Singularity University acquired Futurism in 2019, I was promoted to Director of Strategic Operations across Futurism and its new parent company. I led strategic and operational communication, planning, and execution across divisions. Under my leadership, the publication secured 97.2M monthly impressions, 3.19M monthly uniques, and an 8.3M social following across all platforms.I took a year away from full-time work to freelance during the pandemic.    FQTQ is a website where we explain the science of everything — from quarks to quasars and all that lies in between-I was a part of the original FQTQ team back in 2014. In 2022, under Jolene Creighton\'s leadership, a (very) small group of us began rebuilding the site. The new FQTQ launched in August 2024 after a nine-year hiatus.
