ABOUT SARAH MANNAA
I aspire to become a mechanical engineer and am currently a student at NYU, pursuing my bachelor’s degree while aiming to learn, grow, and explore the vast academic and professional resources available to me. Living and studying in the greatest city in the world has given me access to endless opportunities to expand my interests and apply engineering concepts beyond the classroom.I was a member of Velora Racing, where our team qualified for the regional level and won the Best Verbal Presentation award. At the national level, we earned the Innovative Thinking award and qualified for three additional prizes.I also gained foundational knowledge in the medical field through the Medicine and Disease summer course at Cambridge, which broadened my understanding of healthcare and interdisciplinary applications of engineering. My experience in STEM Racing (formerly F1 in Schools) strengthened my problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills. Additionally, my volunteering experience enhanced my time management and adaptability, further preparing me for a future in mechanical engineering.
