ABOUT SARAH MASON

Senior Business Development Manager at Kier Group with more than 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, helping shape growth strategies, build trusted client relationships, and convert opportunity into successful project delivery.As part of the Senior Management Team, I work across business development, bid, and operational teams to align market insight, client needs, and delivery capability ensuring we pursue the right opportunities and create sustainable, profitable growth. A key part of my role is leading our externalisation strategy, strengthening how we engage with clients, consultants, partners, and wider industry stakeholders to raise market visibility, deepen relationships, and create meaningful opportunities for the business. I’m passionate about strategic planning, collaboration, and bringing people together to unlock the best outcomes for clients, partners, and project teams alike. Alongside my role at Kier, I’m proud to serve as National President of the Interact Group, championing connection, inclusion, and professional relationships across our industry.Outside work, I’m a committed (if slightly reluctant) runner, having completed the Cambridge Half Marathon four years in a row from 2023–2026, and I enjoy netball, darts, and long walks in the woods with my dogs.I always value good conversations, whether around construction, strategy, leadership, or new opportunities, so please feel free to connect.
