   I am an experienced former federal prosecutor who represents corporations and individuals in government investigations and prosecutions of alleged violations of the health care, anti-fraud, procurement, FCPA, criminal tax, securities and commodities laws. A large part of my practice is devoted to representing companies and individuals in False Claims Act investigations of alleged health care fraud. Additionally, I represent clients in connection with CARES Act funding investigations, including (Paycheck Protection Program) and PRF (Provider Relief Fund). Critically informing how I defend my clients is my deep prior experience as a federal prosecutor. My insight draws from my years of prosecutorial experience in every phase of a federal criminal case – from investigation to jury trials to appeals. My role on behalf of clients is to be a vigorous advocate for their interests. If the government is investigating, I persuade enforcement agencies to decline to pursue criminal prosecution or other enforcement actions. If the government has brought charges, I resolve the case in the best way for the client - up to and including trial. Corporate clients regularly call upon me to lead confidential and highly sensitive internal investigations. My experience in internal investigations includes workplace culture investigations, financial fraud, health care fraud, FCPA, export control, narcotics in a corporate setting,#MeToo sexual harassment allegations and whistleblower retaliation.
