Since February 2022, I have been responsible for general management of our Human Health business across all of our Latin American subsidiaries, encompassing nearly employees in more than 30 markets, managing a P&L of nearly $3.0 Billion and a vast portfolio of medicines and vaccines. I am honored to be the first woman President in the company’s history to lead this region. I was elected as the 20••••27 Chair of the Board of Directors for the Brazil-U.S. Business Council, and currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Council of the Americas and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. I also serve on the Advisory Board of Douglass Residential College for Rutgers University. I am an Executive Member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association. Most recently, I was recognized on the 100 Latinas for 2025 list by Latino Leaders Magazine. Before joining Latin America, I held the position of Managing Director and CEO, MSD Sweden. I have an extensive background in strategic and operational commercial roles in US, Global and ex-US. Prior to joining Merck in 2016, I gained diverse experiences in multiple therapeutic areas across several multinational pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis, Sanofi and Eli Lilly. I have worked in medical affairs, patient education, sales, direct-to-consumer marketing, and public relations/crisis management. I hold a Master’s in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University. My passion areas are serving our people and our patients.
