About Sarah Lopez
I am a self-motivated professional currently working as the Program Coordinator for a wonderful non-profit called Family Reading Partnership (FRP). I work to deliver programs and materials designed to empower families to playfully engage with their young children as a pathway to literacy. As a two-time Fulbright scholar in Brazil, I created and taught over 220 hours on cultural, political, social, and economic topics to promote social justice and cultural awareness. I taught 145 hours of beginner and intermediate English courses while customizing innovative methods and materials for effective learning and engagement. I cultivated meaningful relationships as a cultural ambassador and aided students with personal and academic growth.
