   Trainer Baker – Washington, D.C, Virginia & Maryland AreaAt Fresh Baguette, I work as a Trainer Baker, serving as the bridge between the central production labs and the individual stores. My role focuses on developing and maintaining baking excellence across all locations in the DMV area. I train store bakers from the ground up — teaching them the production process until they are confident and skilled enough to independently manage in-store baking.In addition to training, I review the work of experienced bakers to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations. I conduct audits of every store to verify adherence to both Fresh Baguette’s internal standards and HACCP requirements, as well as state and local regulations for Virginia, D.C, and Maryland.I am also part of the team responsible for the standardisation of bakery production across all stores, ensuring consistency in process and product quality. This involves creating clear and accessible guidelines for both professional and amateur bakers, developing tutorial videos, product specification sheets, and conducting monthly store reviews. These reviews include analyses such as Overview of Stores, Overview of Equipment, SWOT by Location, and Recurring Product-Related Issues.Beyond training and auditing, I act as a first responder for bakery machinery issues — diagnosing and resolving manageable problems on-site. This includes checking proofer temperature and humidity levels, verifying oven calibration, and adjusting airflow to ensure even baking results.Finally, I serve as a quality controller, visiting stores daily to maintain and reinforce our quality standards. I also relay feedback and product data between stores and the main production labs, ensuring communication remains strong and product quality continues to evolve across the network.
