ABOUT SARAH KITE

Since leaving school, accountancy has been my passion and I cannot imagine doing anything else. I have over 15 years’ experience in the industry, I am qualified AAT and ACCA as well as being a certified Xero Champion. During this time I have also had a little family and somehow manage to balance both my passions in life.Every accountant develops their experience and career in different ways. My experience has been very much based around the core transactions and the systems used to do this. In my time, I have used many different accounting systems, from the very basic to more complicated.I was introduced to Xero a few years ago and was literally thrown in at the deep end. Having never used this system before, I was asked to enter and reconcile transactions for a company for a 6 month period. This particular client was turning over approx. £2m and had a vast number of transactions as well as some ‘not so straightforward’ transactions. This was a great way to learn it and I soon found a new passion.Since that time, I have continued to develop my knowledge with various training and keeping up to date with the latest releases. I assist our clients with day to day queries and provide training. Being a Xero Champion is very important to me and I am keen to keep up this status as I believe this makes us unique in the market just like Xero.
