ABOUT SARAH KITCHNER

Sarah Kitchner is a Springboard Innovation Fellow at Mizzou Hillel, where she leads student engagement strategy, develops community-based programming, and supports Jewish students in navigating their identity on campus. With a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Graphic Design from Suffolk University, Sarah brings both analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to her work.Passionate about Jewish student life and community building, she focuses on fostering a vibrant space where students can explore, celebrate, and deepen their connection to Jewish identity. Her work emphasizes one-on-one relationship building, creative programming, and thoughtful conversations around topics like Israel, antisemitism, and Jewish life in today’s world.Sarah is currently working toward cultivating and sustaining meaningful relationships with a broad network of students across class years, with a strategic focus on engagement, retention, and leadership development. She is proud to be shaping Jewish life on campus and looks forward to continuing her work in the nonprofit and educational sectors—always with a focus on helping students thrive and making a lasting impact.
