ABOUT SARAH-KATE CANTLIE
During my career with AstraZeneca in the U.K. I have worked with and learned from many talented individuals. My current focus as Director of Strategy & Operations in Chemical Development provides challenge in managing and improving processes across the small and large molecule portfolio.The role also includes leading the people strategy, developing the careers of a department of talented individuals to successfully deliver medicines to late stage clinical trials and into the commercial market. We develop control strategies, regulatory strategies and negotiate the dynamic nitrosamines arena.I am passionate about people development and work with the department to enable our department to maximise their potential. I also enjoy the new challenges across portfolio management, prioritisation and budgets.Following my graduation from St Andrews I completed the graduate scheme at AstraZeneca as an Analytical Chemist. Developing competencies in a wide range of analytical techniques including HPLC, UPLC, ICP, XRF GC, GC/MS, LC/MS and NMR that became the foundation of my current AZ career.
